Galasource Affiliates earn a commission for both online and offline sales they help generate.

Q: WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS OF BECOMING A GALASOURCE AFFILIATE?

A: Anyone can submit an application to join the program. The only requirements are that you have an avenue, such as a web site, for promoting the products and are not sponsoring or supporting any illegal activities.  Please submit an application and we will review it as quickly as possible. The application takes only a few minutes to complete.

Q: HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

A: The Galasource.com Affiliate program is free. There are no fees of any kind and you can cancel whenever you’d like.

Q: DO YOU HANDLE ALL OF THE TRANSACTIONS – OR DO I HAVE TO GET A MERCHANT ACCOUNT AND START TAKING ORDERS AT MY SITE?

A: We handle all transactions through our site. We just need you to send us traffic - we'll do the rest!

Q: DO I NEED TO SIGN UP WITH EACH INDIVIDUAL URL TO PROMOTE PRODUCTS ON WWW.GONAUTICALGIFTS.COM, WWW.TEAKALOOK.COM, WWW.TRULYTHEFINEST.COM AND WWW.1OFAKINDBUYS.COM?

A: No. When approved as a GalaAffiliate you are approved to sell products across all 5 sites. By default, you will be enrolled in the program to sell products on www.Galsource.com. If you wish to promote the products on our other sites, simply check the boxes of the urls you wish to promote during registration. You can add or subtract the urls at any time by going to your ACCOUNT tab in the Administration area.

Q: WHAT CAN I EARN?

A: Galasource pays up to a 8% commission on sales.  Commission is earned on merchandise (excluding shipping and handling) that has shipped and for which Galasource has received payment.  Upon approval into the program, the GalaAffiliate will have access to a detailed listing of the commission payout structure.  Needless to say, the more we make on a product, the higher the commission.

Q: HOW DO I KNOW HOW MUCH I HAVE EARNED?

A: When you sign up as a GalaAffilate, you receive a username and a password.  This allows you to access to your Affiliate Administration Panel through My Affiliate Program Software by KowaBunga! Technologies. There, you can obtain information on the number of impressions and click-throughs you have generated, as well as commissions earned, and special promotions or additional Bonus Programs.

Q: HOW AND WHEN DO I GET PAID FOR THE SALES I MAKE?

A: Within two weeks after the close of each month, checks will be sent to all affiliates who accrue a minimum of $50.00 in commissions. If you are under that amount, we simply accumulate your commissions into the following month(s) for up to six months until you match or exceed the minimum payout and then send your check on the next applicable payout date for the sum of all unpaid amounts. If an affiliate fails to earn a total of $50.00 in commissions during a 6 month period, the affiliate account will automatically terminate.  Commission is earned when a consumer pays for the product ordered, and will not be earned if an item is returned.

Q: CAN AFFILIATES OPERATE PAY-PER-CLICK (PPC) CAMPAIGNS FOR THE GALASOURCE FAMILY OF SITES?

A: PPC Campaigns are permitted. However, Affiliates may not use any of the Galasource Marks or other current or future trademarks or product names of Galasource or it's family of sites, including Galasource.com, GoNauticalGifts.com, Teakalook.com, TrulytheFinest.com and 1ofakindbuys.com. Galasource reserves the right to disallow an affiliate from competing against the Galasource family of sites for keywords.

Q: MAY I USE THE GALASOURCE FAMILY OF SITES LOGOS, CONTENT OR IMAGES ON MY SITE?

A: Affiliates have access to a wide variety of site content and images to use for marketing on our behalf. Feel free to use any product image by right-clicking on a graphic on our site, and then selecting 'Properties'. Once in you are viewing the image properties, you will see the image URL. Simply copy that URL and paste into your site. Content is also available in the form of detailed descriptions and customer reviews. This content may be accessed through the Datafeed or by manually grabbing content from our site. We strongly encourage you to write your own content because search engines love that stuff. In fact, unique content is what feeds the search engines.
